dc.description.abstract | Small particles in atmosphere could lead to decrease in visibilities and would result in affecting clearness of images. Hazy images not only affect the visual pleasantness of the image, but also affect the operation of some computer vision systems which were designed to run with clear images. The technique used to restore this kind of images is called image dehazing. Image Dehazing has been widely studied in the past decades. Atmospheric factors are uncontrollable, while images are essential for image-processing experiments, bad weather could be an obstacle in image-processing experiments. Therefore, there is necessity to look into the problem. The method used to restore images in this paper based on another image dehazing method, Artificial Multiple-Exposure Image Fusion (AMEF), and some other resources. A comprehensive experimental review is done in both qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results got show that the modification on the referenced approach can effectively generate a dehazed image with recognizable improvements. Thus, without further degrading the input image. More work focusing on shortening processing time and could be done to increase effectivity. | en_US |
