Abstract: | This project aims at developing a musical reader app for the VIP. Due to the visual impairment, the VIP has difficulties learning music. They may need to spend lots of time transforming the music sheets into Braille versions. Even though the technology is more advanced, there are a few specially designed applications targeted at the VIP absence. According to the survey, the VIP expressed that they have an impediment recognizing every single note correctly in the music sheets unless they have perfect pitch. MusicSheetFYP is an application to read XML files and display notes through sounds. With the built-in Voiceover screen reading software, the app will name and play every single note according to music sheets so that the VIP could learn music accurately in an easier way. |
