Abstract: | In view of the raging of COVID-19, governments adopted compulsory isolation policies in order to control the COVID-19. However, the recent quarantine wristband is still shortcomings in features and cost. The project aimed to develop a quarantine wristband that can take a balance in functions and the cost which can be popularized to the different countries. The development of the wristband is through Arduino programming. In the wristband, we hope to provide the accurate GPS signal of the quarantine. Besides, we also hope that the wristband can offer several simple functions of the smartwatch such as time, temperature, and counting heartbeat. By using Bluetooth to communicate with the smartphone, we could send out the GPS signal through the mobile. This wristband now can manually use as a quarantine wristband with the basic smartwatch functions. For future development, it is suggested to apply machine learning to manage and monitor the wristband data so that it can automatically find out the unusual data and have the follow-up actions. |
