A Chinese Chess game for the visually impaired was developed by the graduated students. It allows users to play the game using voice commands. However, a few suggestions for the app improvements were received from the users, such as introducing endgame scenarios, adding a user manual, etc. Therefore, the goal of this project is to improve the app according to the feedback. The project builds the app by Swift language on the software development platform Xcode. As suggested by the users, the endgame scenarios are added to the app. Apart from the original chessboard, users could select different chessboard scenarios in the local game. Also, a tutorial manual is added. When users click into the manual, it tells users the layout of the game and how to control the game with voice commands. Additionally, a Player-VS-Computer mode is added so that the user can play the app alone. The bot is built by the greedy algorithm. The project ensures the app is applicable and suitable to visually impaired users by having continuous communication with the guests from Hong Kong Blind Union. At the end of this project, the app will be available to IOS users freely on the App store.en_US
