Abstract: | In recent years, considerable literature has grown up around the theme of the online community as its representativeness in studying the human behavior patterns in the internet world. Meanwhile, the online community plays a pivotal role in connecting people all over the world, providing a base for a considerable number of users to discuss the commonly concerned issues. Users with varying interests may post comments in the corresponding sections that reflect their interests. In the current sports world, players may be confronted with numerous criticism posted by anyone using the Internet. This study set out to explore a new aspect of online criticism in the football community, examining the critical causes of the negative fan sentiment in this field. The aim of this investigation has been to evaluate the driving factors of these fan behaviors in the online communities and create a harmonious public opinion environment for football supporters. |
