Abstract: | This paper discusses the construction of an application for the automatic classification of process types, based on Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). The application, which was constructed using WordNet, SUMO and FrameNet, when combined with an available part-of-speech tagger, links each verb with its corresponding process type. This application should provide helpful information which can contribute to improving efforts at achieving automatic summarization. |
