Abstract: | Light Painting, a photographic technique that many people used to beautify their photos. The most common way they used is to carry a flashlight and move while taking the long exposure photograph. However, it would be a definite difficult task if they want to draw some abstract patterns or words with colorful and regular fonts. Certainly, a single light source cannot achieve these tasks. Therefore, a microcontroller-based full color RGB LEDs Bar was developed. It will read images from the computer and next display those images in air vertically line by line directly to the camera in a high fidelity. At the same time, the accelerometer installed will adjust the LED Bar to display the images with best uniformity. Besides, it has a scalable feature, which users can easily scale up and down the length of the bar. They can also use the bar as a painter to draw arbitrary shape anywhere in three-dimensional spaces. Stepping forward, they can even produce animations after combining all images together. With this bar, user can now explore beyond their imagination and paint whatever artistic patterns and words as they like in the photos. |
